Sula and the Singing Shell

ebook

The five mermaid friends visit King Neptune's Palace. There they learn about the magical singing shells—and the loss of the one shell that has the power to calm the sea. The next day, there is a bad storm, and Coral, Melody, Jasmine, and Rosa are trapped. Can Sula conquer her fears and rescue her friends?

"Familiar themes of friendship, jealousy and bullying abound in this undersea world—with a generous sprinkling of sea jewels and stardust on every page. . . . An alternative for those fairy-loving transitioning readers who are looking for a new magical adventure." —Kirkus Reviews on Rosa and the Water Pony

Katy Kit studied English at the University of London and went on to become a children's book editor. She moved to Bath, England, in 1996, where she now lives with her husband, David, and their two young children.

After a degree and ten years working in graphic design, Tom Knight eventually realized that true happiness lies in drawing pictures in a shed at the bottom of the garden for a living. Brought up on a healthy diet of Tintin, the Beano, and good country air, Tom finds his inspiration all over the place, constantly getting under his feet and making a mess. Tom lives on Mersea Island with his splendid wife, Tabby, and their two boys, Archie and Seth.
